Things to see and do
There are too many local attractions and activities to list in this space.
The Seneca White Deer tour is something really special. This is the largest herd of white deer in the world. The tour guides are knowledgeable and the information about military installation in the past is pretty amazing. Something for the whole family and definitely bring a camera.
Bet the Farm Winery has opened a tasting room actually within walking distance of Judy's Guest House. Great people and great wines. Stop in while you're here.
This is a mecca for antique hunters, and anyone with an interest in classical architecture should drive through the nearby Village of Trumansburg with its many historic houses.
There are several live theater groups and great opportunities to hear any sort of music you can imagine performed live. There’s a wide variety of local restaurants for just about any cuisine you might have in mind, too.
Plan to visit some State Parks while you’re here. See the spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails from easy to quite difficult, and truly scenic gorges. And there's always Cornell, Ithaca College, Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, sailing... the list just goes on.
