This is a mecca for antique hunters, and anyone with an interest in classical architecture should drive through the nearby Village of Trumansburg with its many historic houses.
There are several live theater groups and great opportunities to hear any sort of music you can imagine performed live. There’s a wide variety of local restaurants for just about any cuisine you might have in mind, too.
Plan to visit some State Parks while you’re here. See the spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails from easy to quite difficult, and truly scenic gorges. And there's always Cornell, Ithaca College, Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, sailing... the list just goes on.
